Ultimately if approved for Disability retirement a MaBstoa TWU Union Rep will accompany you thru the process. If you get reclassified due to injury sickness or discipline the MaBstoa Divisional reps should be notified so things can be monitored regarding placement into a job. In these cases we have to wait for a budgeted position to open up in MaBstoa. In other cases such as second time positives there’s an EAP aspect that has to be completed before you can actually be considered for the budgeted position. Often times you will finish such programs before a budgeted job opens up, however you may still have to comply with certain EAP protocols until a budgeted job actually opens up.
